Faucets raise more lead concerns in Taiwan

The Taiwan government is looking to tighten the regulations governing the manufacture of faucets to reduce people’s exposure to lead-contaminated water.

The Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection (BSMI) said on Saturday it plans to announce new standards in November limiting the use of lead in the making of faucets.
